Every distance is measured from the kitchen on Jl. Sakura in Denpasar Utara, as road distance rather than a straight line. Drive times are outside rush hour, leaving before 6.30am.

Orders for the next day have to be in before this time. The reason is not bureaucracy: each of our two box vans manages two runs a morning, and a far zone eats both, so the route has to be locked earlier.
Denpasar Selatan
Sanur is our closest zone at 25 minutes, and the only one where we can sometimes manage a same day Daily Rice Box. The character of the orders is different too: a lot of family and school events, a lot of children, and that pushes the adult to child ratio here to about 2 to 1 rather than the 5 to 1 we see elsewhere.
Kuta, Badung
Kuta is our most B2B zone. Nearly 70 percent of what goes there is boxes for offices, most of it repeating on the same weekday. We have five standing office clients on Sunset Road, and their ordering patterns are what led us to write the piece on ordering office lunch.
Kuta, Badung
Seminyak asks for the table to look like something more often than anywhere else. More than half of what we send here is canapes, grazing, or a buffet where the table dressing matters as much as the food. Our crew brings cloths, wooden boards, and linen as standard for this zone at no extra charge.
Kuta Utara, Badung
Canggu has the hardest addresses on our whole list. Not because it is far, but because half the venues sit in lanes that do not exist on Google Maps, and our box van is 1.9 metres wide. We always ask for a shared location rather than a written address, and we ask you to be honest if the lane is narrow.
Ubud, Gianyar
Ubud is the only zone where most orders are vegetarian or vegan. Yoga retreats in Sanggingan and Penestanan usually book for 20 to 40 people with the entire menu meat free, and that means separate pans and boards from before dawn, not just swapping in one extra dish.
Kuta Selatan, Badung
Uluwatu is our furthest zone and the one with the tightest rules. Eighty five minutes each way, which cuts the menu list down to four: the three rice boxes and canapes. We know that sounds like turning down half the enquiries from here, and it is. Sending a hot buffet this far means handing over food whose temperature has already dropped before the first guest picks up a plate.
